Cancer Wellness House
Get Connected. Find Support.
A cancer diagnosis is something that no one would ever wish for. However, it is something that you can learn to live with. Once registered, you will complete a Wellness Assessment. Then you will meet with a CWH staff member and develop your Wellness Plan, which focuses on eight dimensions of wellness, emotional, physical, social, spiritual, intellectual, financial, occupational and environmental.
This group is perfect for families, friends and others caring for an individual with cancer. This group will help you find new ways to take care of yourself while supporting a loved one. Topics addressed include common emotions, stress management and practical tips for caregivers.
Our objective is to help our clients participate in a forum that facilitates verbal expression, providing an opportunity for insight and interpersonal exploration with an emphasis on the cancer experience.
The death of a loved one can be a very difficult experience to navigate. This group provides a safe place to share your journey with others who have also experienced the loss of a loved one.
The wellness support group is open to anyone who is currently undergoing or has undergone cancer treatment. The group is member-led and joined by a counseling professional.
