About Gentle Yoga:

Gentle Yoga is designed for people who want basic instruction, slower pace and extra support for added stability and balance. Anyone can participate at any level of experience, interest, or physical ability they are at. This yoga class is classified as restorative yoga for healing and relaxation. The National Cancer Institute states that “yoga is an ancient system of practices used to balance the mind and body through exercise, meditation (focusing thoughts), and control of breathing and emotions. Yoga is being studied as a way to relieve stress and treat sleep problems in cancer patients.” Each person will be accommodated where they are. No prior experience is required. Survivors, caregivers, and family members welcome!

Schedule:

You do not need an appointment to attend Yoga, but will need to sign-up upon arrival. Each class will meet directly in the yoga studio, located behind house #59 in the SE corner. Yoga mats and equipment provided. All cancelled classes will be posted on the calendar.
