Cancer Wellness House provides a place of hope, learning, and friendship for those living with cancer and their family and friends -

free of charge.

 This includes:

  • People Living with Cancer - Whether from the movement of diagnosis, in the middle of treatment, life after treatment or living with metastatic disease, there are profound emotional and social implications of living with cancer.  Joining a community of people who have experienced cancer firsthand can decrease the sense of isolation and empower you to confront whatever life hands you.
  • Family and Friends of those living with cancer - The impact of cancer extends beyond the persons who have been diagnosis: it affects the entire family and social network.  Learning to balance the need to provide care and support loved ones in addition to everyday responsibilities is something no one should have to face alone.
  • People who are Grieving - When a loved one dies, communication feelings of grief and loss can be very difficult.  Connecting to others through the grieving process is often beneficial and healing.
  • Children and Teens affected by cancer - Kids Club and Teen Club are a place where children affected by cancer can express their feelings in a friendly and safe environment decreasing isolation and increasing healthy adjustments to cancer in the family.
