Get Connected. Find Support.
2017 marks the 21st year of this signature event benefiting Cancer Wellness House. Your support will help Cancer Wellness House provide hope, wellness, and support to people with cancer and their families in a home-like setting.
Modeled after traditional Tibetan prayer flags, Tribute Flags honor those affected by cancer, survivors and those who have passed away. Each flag, sold for $25, is hung at Hidden Peak Summit at Snowbird Ski & Summer resort during our event. Tribute Flags are made available for viewing as hikers, runners, mountain bikers, and lift riders meet together at the summit to participate in a Celebration of Life ceremony. Following the event each flag is lovingly returned to the person who purchased it as a keepsake from this powerful and often life changing experience.
Snowbird and Cancer Wellness House invite sponsors, donors, hikers, members, survivors, families and the general public to the annual Pancakes on the Plaza breakfast from 9-11 AM. CWH volunteers team up with Snowbird’s chefs to offer pancakes and bacon to fuel your journey to the top. Bring your friends and family for a mountain breakfast while paying tribute to the courage and determination so many have exhibited in the fight against cancer. Breakfast is included with registration. Additional tickets may be purchased for $5 each.
The Celebration of Life Ceremony features inspirational speakers and live entertainment as you view the hundreds of flags flying on the mountain side. These flags are truly the heartbeat of this event and carry beautiful heartfelt messages for all to see.
